Masanobu Hiraoka is a self-taught artist and animator whose videos have been making the rounds of late. I’m particularly fond of this video, Uneasiness and Triangle, but all of his animations weave this strange line between beautiful and unsettling.

Mix 1/4 cup of salt with a 1/2 teaspoon of food coloring in a small bowl until the salt is uniformly colored. Spread the mixture out in an even layer on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake in the oven for ten minutes. Allow your homemade glitter to cool before using it or storing it. And that’s it!:)

Some WIPs from a group project at school. We’re trying to go UPA on this bitch. Jelly did some awesome sketch work that I had the privilege to clean up and make look nice and she’s doing color cause she’s a badass!

These are taken from the abandon Takakonuma Greenland Park of Japan. The park opened in 1973 and shut down only after two years of service; common lore says that the rides were due to many accidental deaths. It was reopened in 1986 and closed thirteen years later. The park is not located on any maps and is now surrounded by radiation due to the Fukushima meltdown after the tsunami.
